The fifth district in downtown Houston is one of the poorest in our region, Street after street of ramshackle houses and projects government, which is populated mostly by blacks. 2007 was an incredible success for the Elves & More and disadvantaged children that we serve.
The bicycle Ball (September) and Texas Golf Classic (October) were a great success and the Elves allows them to serve more than 16,000 disadvantaged children at the Houston area in the bike program in December.
2008 promises to be even more successful than deliver our 100,000 th bike for a child less fortunate and the number of elves and more groups around the country continues to grow.
