Cycling shorts really helps in the comfort?
I commute every day to school and my head is fine, but I wondered if cycling shorts help make your trip more comfortable. I was thinking of using them in my regular shorts. This is a about 3.5 miles one way, and is on a road bike. I just tend to have a little pain chair. I weigh about 150. The man who takes me about 25 minutes to climb to 3.5 mils inches .. I am a believer in bike shorts with padding, but not think you need a ride of 3.5 miles. If you feel any discomfort will disappear as the background becomes accustomed to cycling. You simply are not on the bike enough to be worth the trouble short when you go to school and putting them back on when it's time to go home. HTH
