As a home Stager in Orlando, Central Florida and surrounding areas, I constantly meeting with suppliers to advise them on how to prepare your home for sale in what has become a buyers market. I have a critical eye on each field, both inside and outside to determine what to do to transform your home into a product placement "for sale.
Although each property is unique, there are fundamental staging guidelines must be followed when preparing any home for sale, starting with "D" list. . . Deep Clean, depersonalization and low Sort, Sort Orders, and more! This includes kitchen and bathroom cabinets, closets, drawers, the spare bedroom that was used as a bedroom / office / JUNK ROOM. . . basement, garage. . . Do I continue? When I get to this part of my clients are usually review their decision on the move!
A the biggest problems facing the daunting task of decluttering is deciding what to do with all the "stuff"! You know. . . a piano plays the grandmother who the individual, which no one is in Chartreuse chairman, the suitability of your bike and not riding. . . and my personal favorite – what about the folding treadmill as a coat rack in the forgotten corner of the master bedroom! I understand we all have "stuff" is very difficult to separate the facts. . . "It's too good for throw ", do you …?
I am very happy to share with you the solution. . . Go to freecycle.org to find the Freecycle Network group in your area. It This is a database, and any movement of persons nonprofit that give (and get) the "stuff" for free in their own cities. Freecycle Network is formed by different groups around the world have come together to "recycle" unwanted items. They give things away instead of throwing them away, and do your part to take care of Mother Earth, the same time! Freecycle Network was started in 2003, Deron Beal had a vision and an e-mail of 30-40 friends and a handful of nonprofits in Tucson, Arizona. What is now present in 75 countries and 4041 communities around the world, and has 3,540,995 members. . . and growing. Following their efforts they were able to keep more 300 tons per day of waste from our landfills. They have three main rules for participation: everyone should be free, everything should be legal, and all must be appropriate for ALL AGES. By giving freely without conditions, members of the Freecycle Network has breathed a spirit of generosity of spirit in their local communities.
As Interior Stager, I was able to convey this information to the countless customers who are ordering in an effort to make their product more than a home "market." But I challenge each of us to join members of the Freecycle Network, people from all walks of life who have made the waste treasures to improve our environment.
Remember when decluttering. . . think green, think globally, and "recycle" on the spot. Good staging!
