If I move to Costa Rica or Maui or St. Thomas, Virgin Islands of the United States?
Hello! I'll be finishing my degree in Social Sciences December and plans to move either Costa Rica or Maui or St. Thomas in the following January. I lived on Oahu for several years and went to Maui, but I've never been to Costa Rica or Santo Tomas. I am a 24 year old white male, single, XL dog me, I love adventure, new cultures to explore, and I like the idea of riding my bike or moped on the fruit market. I also like surfing. I know there are tons of factors involved in the movement of any of these places (I really my research), but I just want to get advice on … "Happiness" in each place, if desired.
Again, I am single and want to start a new adventure! Being Realistically, I do not know that I would stay in one place more than a year or two.
Hello, I hope we can help. I lived in Costa Rica for about nine years. Well Costa Rica has many attractions, but outside of that would be the downtown area of San Jose, which is the nation's capital. The capital is not much special, not is really worthwhile, even if you have very beautiful old structures like the National Theater and the Hotel Costa Rica, the former postal service in Costa Rica, Gold Museaum groundwater. The National Theatre: http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/5034/herra2fr.jpg, http://www.viajejet.com/wp-content/viajes/Vista-nocturna-Teatro-Nacional.jpg, Http: / / static2.todanoticia.com/tn2/uploads/news_image/2010/02/20/Teatro_Nacional_de_CR_.jpg. The interior architecture is amazing. Costa Rica is a very important location, so it is a "bridge" for many species of flora and fauna, accommodation around 5% of the worlds total, and is also considered as the second great "lungs of the world, after Brazil. Costa Rica is actually, if you just go to the capital, you will be disappointed. That's the beauty outside the capital, especially in provinces such as North GUANACASTE .. Who has an international airport Daniel Oduber, and the Caribbean province of Limon. CR has many microclimates "in our little country, some provinces have low humidity, but high temperatures while others are much much cooler and wetter. There are many mountains with breathtaking views of the country. You can find a place called Cerro Chirripo " where the temperature can be from 0 º C, while the rest of the country is inbetween 16 º and 40 º C by the time of year and where you. We jungles INCREDIBLE http://www.google.co.cr/images?hl=es&q=rainforest+costa+rica&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=sZYFTKqNApTw9AStyYCpBw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCsQsAQwAA , Hits increidible through them too. This is a map of Costa Rica so you can see we have the beaches http://www.maravillasdeaprender.com/shop/images/MAP102.jpg Atlantic (Caribbean Sea) and the Pacific. Globally, our beaches are recognized as some of the best .. If you want to see white sand literal, like paradise, BLUE beaches literally surrounded by water (due to weather) to what appears to be dry desert. You must go to the beaches of Guanacaste province as "Panama, Papagayo, Conchal, Hermosa "Each group includes about 30 minutes of each other. Guanacaste is the only province with this quality of beautiful beaches. They are very nice and the central-southern Pacific, as Matapalo. In the Brunca (southwest) area, there are beautiful beaches where you can observe the migration of hundreds of turtles. Costa Rica to the Atlantic provinces (Caribbean) coast called LIMON is like being in another country, culture is impressive. The population here is 80% black descendants of Afro-Costa Ricans because Jamaica our history of the locomotive. Then they represent about 5% of the total population, because the rest is mainly due to a 90% white (European). Culture, food, the music is totally different, you really get the real Bahamas, Jamaica and the Caribbean feel. They even have their own language is English or Jamaican Creole Patua. If you like to party, know how to party. The beaches of Puerto Viejo limo as a popular tourist destination and the party too. From the South (which is almost knocking Panama) the beaches of Punta Uva, Manzanillo and INCREIBLY are incredible, culture, and there are almost as beautiful as Guanacaste. http://www.isla-margarita24.com/imgplayas/puerto-viejo2.jpg http://z.about.com/d/gocentralamerica/1/0/h/8/-/-/PaulPuntaUVA.jpg these photos are bad enough, they are even 5% of Nice as they are in reality, but that's all I had time to look. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_MnyQdOD5Qhc/ScsNRyPs9eI/AAAAAAAAB5g/FOiFSXUTm5Q/s400/isla+del+coco.5.jpg. http://videosmundi.com/img/Isla_del_Coco_05.jpg. We have a load of active volcanoes, and the world's largest craters. In Costa Rica you can find almost everything .. From the mountains, beaches, volcanoes, rain forest, in modern cities, Indian reservations, hotels in the cabin really cheap (usually near the beach) luxourious 5-star hotels or "bungalow" hidden in our best mountains and tropical regions. If you come here, go to these places, it is not worth coming to city. Now if you're interested, you can go to Heredia or San Jose and learn to know the cities, malls, etc. a little.
