front tire of the bike keeps blowing?

I have a mountain bike that I use both the road rises and shopping outside all the neighborhood. Over the last 2 weeks, my front tire had blown up four times. Always tear in the rubber had been entitled to the valve base Presta. I checked the sharp metal edge that might be the cause and found nothing. Today, it has affected disastrous. Rose, wind, lost control and flew on the handlebars and I've rejected badly. I can not find any obviously something wrong that keeps causing these tears in the air at the base of the valve. I had the bike since 2001 and have never had problems with the rapid decompression of my tires. I used a Monte Tuffy filling of protection against thorns year past, but I doubt that is the problem or who have been doing over the two tires. All ideas that could be causing this?

I experienced the same situation many times, but have not found anything that could be the answer. I can tell you some things I did to try to alleviate it though. First – When you install the tube to be very careful when inserting the rod through the wheel to make sure it is not pinched between the tire bead and rim. Second – when the first inflate the tire after installation, the screws on the retaining ring, but not all the way to the mother. Leave a few threads on the merits, which allows put the air nozzle on the valve without putting too much emphasis on the connection between the rod and tube. Third – do not buy the cheapest tube … My experience has been that this seems to happen most often the cheapest. I think the reason turns out that the benefits, in contrast to the Schrader valve has a brass flange, where the shaft meets the tube and excessive pressure on the bottom or side of the mother can cause the metal to pinch the tube that causes a weakness rather than later Sooner or given.
