Now, with the same dauntless courage which shocked the world with custom cars, men, women and children express their own power and artistic skill by building a lowrider bike custom. For the current generation, these firms works of art are the new icons of the street. When you look at the lowrider street bikes you'll see that many are completely customizable and therefore "one" with the artist or the owner has. The bikes are low to the ground and often have handlebars that recall the helicopter "Easy Rider" It was popularized decades ago. Do not be surprised if you are forced to stop, look and look.
So what is the origin of this bike? The word the street is that the bike that led to this cultural icon than the Schwinn Stingray. If you are "mature" enough to remember the hit TV show called "Monsters" is released in the 1960's, you might have seen this machine pedal. This bike was the inspiration for today's designers bike.
The Schwinn Stingray was a great success and became the bike that children ask their parents. Unfortunately, the world was not ready for the phenomenon bicycle and its popularity waned with time. At one point they were almost forgotten.
Then came the 1980's. The decade of greed and indulgence is also the decade in which lowrider bike had to breathe a new life there. With this new-found life, what type of bike off and always has gained in popularity. They have now reached the point where they begin to move into the mainstream. They managed to turn the motorcycle world and in the opinion of many, cycling lowrider is here to stay.
Lowrider bikes continue to gain popularity and, as with anything with such power, the clubs have been formed to provide a great outlet for people to network, make friends and have ideas on how to build your own bike low. These clubs are also a great place to showcase your lowrider bike Custom and know where to find the pieces and paintings.
