bicycle pedal question?
hola! I recently bought a road bike, and I was on the pedal to get. I was ready pedal bike (Shimano SPD) since it already took some time ATV. I'm just not used to mountain bike pedal and clamp system, purchasing pedals for my mountain bike race I also save money by not having to buy a pair of racing shoes to the pedals. However, one of my friends said that race pedals are wider (ie have a larger platform and step on the clip) bicycle pedals (which are small enough to keep housing clay). and say that this race wide platform pedals allows more power to be transmitted to crank up as down. Is this true? get pedals with broader base that really affect performance? thanks in advance!
I use SPD pedals. I like being able to get the bike and on foot, and I'm not planning to enter Tour in France.
