What kind of bike should I buy? Please help. I’ll give 10 points.?
I’m 18 years old and I’m a serious runner. I’d like to get into triathalons or maybe just pure bicycle races. I have an old mountain bike from like 5 years ago. It’s a standard kid’s bike and it’s no good for me anymore. I just came back from a 100km ride and I don’t think I’d ever do it again on my old bike.
I was hoping for a bike that could do both road and off-road (say 70% road). My price range is anything under 1500 dollars. I was looking at Specialized bikes and they have a couple of good ones. What would you recommend? Thanks.
I would try something from Trek. They have some good hard tail bikes (front suspension) that would be good for you. Go to www.trekbikes.com and check some out.
A hardtail trek sounds like the right bike for you.
