Visiting DC with nine years. Where are good places to go biking?
We are visiting next week. I can talk to our bikes, but The carrier is a bit vague, and I worry hire bikes will be zero on the disk. Any suggestions for renting? Ideally, a tandem Tagalog? In addition, some good places to go with cars or motorcycles Lane. Can you take bikes on the subway? Thank you all.
There are a number of bike rental places in Washington, DC. They are, in my opinion leaders, as appropriate: Downtown in the former Casa de Correos, Bike Sites rents bikes and offers bike. In the center tourism in what is probably the most convenient place to rent a bike to do something in DC. These people are tandems. You can rent a bike to ride down the river or to the Rock Creek Park, Thompson Boat Center located in Georgetown. (You can also rent boats there.) Also in Georgetown, Fletcher's Boat House rents bikes. They are in the C & O Canal. The best places to ride in Washington would be as follows: In the center itself – being the many pedestrians, many though. Around the basin and low tide in West Potomac Park. The C & O Canal Georgetown (attention can bike all the way to Cumberland Maryland, if had the time.
) And best of all the Rock Creek Park. I would not take a tandem in the mall, but that should go elsewhere. It also included a review bike site here. In the suburbs, there are many bike paths – one I know best is the W & OD Trail, a historic train route through the suburbs Virginia. In many cases along fun too. You can take the underground bike – but there are limits. I've included a link to the bike on Metro Rail (Have a bike on the bus) and I recommend that you read on for more details. Washington DC is an easy bike the city itself, and is an excellent idea.
