I used to have an adult () bicycle as a child I loved … was very old (my parents bought a charity auction in the 70's for my brothers and sisters), but unfortunately ended one winter when the snow thrower ran over him (I could not find anything like this before. I found a picture of the Cal Trek "http://www.bicycling.com/article/1, 6610, s1-1-324-16389-1, 00.html I have handlebars, I want the broadest base and the braking mechanism (pedal backwards) I want. I've never had a bike that has changed tack, and do not know if it's important or not. No price I will. Are there bikes out there that are similar but not so expensive? Thanks!
If you really want a bike like that (oh yes, 26 "x 1-3/8 tires. So many apartments, and inner tubes.) Sales Search garage and thrift stores. You may be able to find a good Old Schwinn, Ross, and Raleigh for $ 20. These new bikes are just $ 500 + versions of the same things we have purchased $ 50. I found a few in the trash and repaired. Too bad he did not have space in my apartment for five different bikes.
